While traditional American media outlets are calling the April death of a 23 year old Birmingham, Alabama Caucasian male a homicide resulting from a “robbery,” the National Black Foot Soldier Network (NBFSN) is officially declaring it a Reparations Protestthat the assailant, a Vanderbilt Magna Cum Laude graduate from a privileged family named Christopher Kyser Miree, turned violent.
“We do not condone violence against direct Trans Atlantic Slave Trade Reparations Offenders or non direct ones,” in their first statement they have issued on the protest, Mobile Black Foot Soldier Moses Abernathy is quoted as saying. “We are compelled by the evidence in this case to believe that this 23 year old offender, whose family is believed to have once owned slaves, turned this peaceful demonstration violent.”
According to the Slaves Schedules of the 1850 census, Wm. S. Miree of Perry County Alabama (Only 1 county removed from Jeffereson County Alabama – which Birmingham resides) owned a considerable number slaves.
My big brother and lifelong hero, the one and only Kyser Miree, was taken from us forever this weekend. Kyser was alone in his living room on Friday night when some human entered his home and shot him in the back of the head. My heart writhes in anguish over the senseless murder of the most peaceful and chipper man this world has ever seen.
Alabama Black Foot Soldiers have launched an investigation to determine if the families are the same. No one in Kiser’s family, however, has denied the relation.

Infact, the government supported him to the degree to where even when the Emancipation Proclamation was passed it continued to support the system of racism and discrimination that relegated and continues to relegate generations of my people into poverty. Let’s see, the Emancipation Proclamation was passed in 1863 and replaced with the Prison Industrial Complex and over a hundred years of “Separate But Equal” which was and still is “inherently inequal.” Because of that same racist oppression, the justice of Reparations was intentionally denied. Now, you tell the first generation of us who can vocally express the duplicity and sum of your generational injustice that we’re the racists, to “get over it” and that “that was a hundred and fifty years ago.” Justice was denied through racist manipulation that even you support today. As your fathers embraced the Universal Law of “Do Unto Others What You Would Have Them Do Unto You,” Kyser couldn’t have been killed enough to satisfy all the injustice and treacherousness your kind have done to mine.
Though your denial and moral deprivation is a result of your reprobate forefathers absence of conscience, certainly you, Kyser, his father and each one of you devils fits between Adolf Hitler and child molesters moreso than I or anyone in this community.

Slavery was a part of human history. It was and should be condemned . However , to pretend that these 4 young men committed this inexcusable crime for anything other than money and bravado is absurd. If activists such as the black foot soldiers were to actively address the issues of education and family involvement , rather than blaming their failures on others , this would certainly be a better society. The concept is personal responsibility. Before I am also accused of slave ownership, I am from a foreign country where both whites and blacks do well together with no history of slavery. Regardless of how you try couch your kind’s unique form of slavery (for the period) as the introduction (prototype) for that kind of slavery, it will not be excused or lessen the sentence or debt. Your kind traversed generations and then manipulated your “personal responsibility” through a continual abuse of power. Condemnation alone is not sufficient.
Certainly – if not for those 2 reasons – knowing they, then, were (are) black and that the assailant (Kyser) was white – at this juncture in history – is enough.
That definition doesn’t qualify you as good – only standing up for justice will do that. As you appear to have no concept of what justice is, however, nothing will help you.

The United States only received 12% of all slaves from Africa. Curacao was the hub of the slave trade and have several museums dedicated to the subject.
